In addition to the hundreds of home improvement and remodeling exhibitors, the 20th Annual Fall Home & Remodeling Show will feature the Time Warner Cable “Relaxation Station,” the Boucher Automotive Group vehicle display, the Milwaukee/NARI Information Center, and more.

This year’s event will be held Fri., Sept. 17 – Sun., Sept. 19, in the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis. Sponsored by the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc., the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource for more than 49 years, this year’s Show theme is “Bring Inspiration Home.”

The Time Warner Cable “Relaxation Station” will enable Show attendees to recharge their batteries during their tour of the exhibit hall, plus catch that weekend’s sporting events.

The Milwaukee/NARI Information Center provides attendees with a central location to learn about the various components of the country’s largest home improvement council. Consumers will gain knowledge about Certified Professionals, Milwaukee/NARI’s ethical guidelines, government relations activities, and the Milwaukee/NARI Foundation, the association’s charitable and educational arm. An “Ask a NARI Certified Professional” area will feature one of the association’s Certified Professionals available to answer consumer inquiries and provide remodeling advice. The association will also have available its marketing materials for consumers, including its Membership Directory and Resource Guide.

Boucher Automotive Group will have a variety of 2010 and 2011 vehicles on display, including the Ford Transit, the Hyundai Sonata, and the Chevrolet Traverse. In addition, attendees will be able to sign up to win one of three $1,500 gift certificates and 10 hours of landscape planning from Hawks Nursery.

Free admission for two people will be provided to those that participate in the Fall Show Blood Drive coordinated by the BloodCenter of Wisconsin between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Fri. Sept. 17. Sponsored by Callen Construction, people 60 and older will be admitted for $4.00 on Fri., Sept. 17, for Senior Day, while Milwaukee/NARI is conducting a Fall Show ticket giveaway on the association Web site, www.milwaukeenari.org. Registration will run through Monday, September 13, at noon, with 20 winners selected that afternoon to receive a pair of tickets.

Presented by Pekel Construction & Remodeling, children will have an opportunity to participate in a coloring contest, with winners in three age groups each receiving a $50 U.S. savings bond. The age groups for the contest are 3 – 5 years old, 6 – 9 years old, and 10 – 12 years old. Children will be able to color an official contest sheet, which will be displayed in the Show’s childcare area, with winners selected and contacted after the Show. The contest will be located in the childcare area on the second floor of the Wisconsin Exposition Center.

The Show also announced that an interpreter for the deaf and hearing impaired will be available Fri., Sept. 17, from noon - 8 p.m., and on call for the rest of the Show for individuals requiring assistance for seminar presentations.
