Wauwatosa City Officials, Just Don't Get It

Wauwatosa has been going downhill for the last two years. Our streets in winter time are just terrible to drive on. They will not salt our roads or plow snow in a safe manor anymore. And Bill Kapple laughs about it and tells the media, he is saving Wauwatosa money by doing this. You tell everyone in City Hall, that they are forcing people out of Wauwatosa with their high taxes, and they laugh at you. People are losing their homes and they are raising your taxes. They know your houses are over taxed and they keep raising them. My taxes just jump to 5200. People better wake up because you won’t be able to sell your homes, because of these high taxes. The Mayor and Alderman just do not care to keep long term residents. The breaking point for me is now. When my taxes get to the point of ridiculous, it is time to leave. Anyone out there, that wants a very nice home, with the major stuff done and all you have to do is paint , you can buy my home for the assessed price this city says it is worth. And that has already been dropped by 60 grand. I cannot stand these taxes anymore This is a lannon stone home, 3 bedrooms , bath and a half, 1800 square feet, rec-room , fire place, almost an acre of land, no wet basement, no sewer back up, and clean, you cannot find a nicer home for your family in Wauwatosa, or I should say, tax hell island. Your kids can walk to all 3 schools, 2 churches, major food shopping stores, Kohl's and Mayfair Mall. All that for a price of 252,000 the city calls fair market price. All my neighbors are over the 300,000 mark, so this is a steal. I just cannot see paying the taxes here anymore. I will be glad to show it to anyone that is interested in a very nice home. And the good part is your taxes are less than your neighbors, because I did everything I could, to keep them down in the last fourteen years. Phone 414 774 2751 if you like to buy a nice home in Tosa. Joe Heder
