Recycle cell phones and printers for a GREAT cause! November 9 thru 24

Nov. 6, 2009 | 0 comments

The Wauwatosa Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Council will be holding a cell phone and ink cartridge fundraiser November 9 through November 24th. Previously used cell phones and printer cartridges (no refurbished models please) can be dropped off at any of the Wauwatosa public schools or at the Fisher Administrative Building (12121 W. North Avenue) during school hours November 9-24th.

The Wauwatosa PTA Council is comprised of the eleven PTAs that are currently in the Wauwatosa school district. The purpose and mission of each PTA is: a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well being of every child. The PTAs provide many programs and opportunities to enhance all of the student’s educational experience. The Wauwatosa Council and the Wauwatosa PTAs are also members of the Wisconsin PTA that is comprised of over 25,000 members.

Support of this fundraising effort will enable the PTA Council to continue its work for the school district and it students. Notably each year the Wauwatosa PTA Council awards scholarships to East and West High School seniors for college and technical schools. Please help to keep our PTAs strong in Wauwatosa!
