The Milwaukee chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (Milwaukee/NARI), the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource for more than 48 years, will sponsor a free “What to Expect When Starting a Remodeling Project and the Process” panel discussion.

The event will be held Wed., Nov. 11, in the Ron Ziglinski, CR Education Center in the Milwaukee/NARI office, 11815 W. Dearbourn Ave., Wauwatosa, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It will include a question and answer session. Representatives of the following Milwaukee/NARI member companies will participate:

• Chris Egner, CR, designer with Four Seasons Sunrooms

• Nick Kerzner, CR, CKBR, owner of Kerzner Remodeling & Construction

• John Nehmey, CR, owner of Nehmey Construction, Inc.

• David Pekel, CR, CAPS, owner of Pekel Construction & Remodeling, Inc.

• Tony Rink, CR, Milwaukee/NARI Vice President and co-owner of Renovators Ltd.

• Tom Weiher, CR, CKBR, Milwaukee/NARI President and owner of Carmel Builders, Inc.

The seminar will address all types of exterior and interior remodeling and home improvement projects, offering insight to homeowners as to how best go about working with a contractor based on the type of work that will be done.

In addition to a variety of Milwaukee/NARI resource materials, including the association’s annual Membership Directory, Resource Guide, and Remodeling Guide, all attendees will be signed up to receive a pair of tickets for the 48th annual Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Show, to be held Thurs., Feb. 11 – Sun., Feb. 14, at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park. Light refreshments will be served.

Space is limited, and reservations are required. Call the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council office at 414-771-4071 to reserve your space or send an e-mail to info@milwaukeenari.org.

The Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council was chartered in July 1961, as a Chapter of the National Home Improvement Council. In May of 1982, the National Home Improvement Council merged with the National Remodelers Association to form NARI – the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. With over 900 members, the Milwaukee Chapter is the largest in the nation.

The Council’s goals of encouraging ethical conduct, sound business practices, and professionalism in the remodeling industry have led to the growth of the remodeling industry nationwide and made NARI a recognized authority in that industry.

For more information or to receive a free copy of an annual membership roster listing all members alphabetically and by category, and the booklet, “Milwaukee/NARI’s Remodeling Guide,” call (414) 771-4071 or visit the Council’s Web site at www.milwaukeenari.org.
