Once again time to fight for the Monarch Trail -- Urgent!

June 23, 2009 | 0 comments

Dear Concern Citizens of Wauwatosa & Milwaukee County:

Once again it is time to stand up and fight and let your voices be heard.

Where is Aldo Leopold when you need him? "That land is a community is the basic concept of ecology, but that land is to be loved and respected is an extenstion of ethics"

The DOT preliminary environmental impact statement for the proposed Zoo Interchange project would destroy part of the Monarch habitat on the County Grounds, the study also proposes no mitigation measures, nor does it consider the cumulative impacts of the freeway project and the proposed UWM engineering school.

Citizens please send e-mails:

To jameslipstack@dot.state.wi.us or charlie.webb@ch2m.com,

Regards,

Michael J. Matusinec
