June 22, 2009 | 0 comments

Elite Fitness & Racquet Club officials announced the groundbreaking of a major expansion project that will include many exciting new features - a new outdoor pool, kiddie pool, indoor warm water pool and lap pool; basketball court, and more. The expansion is being done in various phases with completion expected by summer of 2010. The first phase, which includes a state-of-the-art fitness center and Yoga and group exercise studios, has already been completed.

The Mequon Elite facility expansion will be focused on family fitness with the addition of these family-friendly features - kids gym with lower hoops; multi sports area, playroom for 6 and under; interactive exercise area for older kids 7-13 featuring dance-dance revolution and other games; playing field; smoothie bar, and family, women’s and men’s locker rooms.

“This will be the first club of this kind in Ozaukee County and we are truly excited about this expansion and serving all members of the family,” stated Kay Yuspeh owner of Elite Fitness & Racquet Club. “We are building during these tough economic times because we know that this club and all the new amenities are adding value to people’s lives. Our members can come to Elite and have fun while improving fitness and health for the whole family,” Yuspeh added. The architectural firm for the expansion is Perspective Design from Wauwautosa: President: Peter Ogorek, Chief Architect. For more information log onto www.eliteclubs.com.
