Aurora Health Care honored with American Heart Association / American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Quality Achievement Awards

Aurora Health Care has been recognized for its commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care to stroke and heart failure patients with Get With The Guidelines®– Quality Achievement Awards from the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association.

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center was the only hospital in Wisconsin to receive the Get With The Guidelines®– Heart Failure Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award and the Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. These awards recognize commitment and success in implementing quality standards of care for stroke patients and signify that Aurora St. Luke’s has reached an exceptional goal of treating heart failure patients.

The following medical centers received the Get With The Guidelines®–Heart Failure Silver Quality Achievement Award in recognition of their aggressive goal of treating heart failure patients according to the guidelines of care recommended by the American Heart Association / American College of Cardiology:

•Aurora Lakeland Medical Center
•Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center
•Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh
•Aurora BayCare Medical Center
•Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington
•Aurora Medical Center in Grafton
•Aurora Sinai Medical Center

Additionally, Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington and Aurora Lakeland Medical Center have been recognized as recipients of the Association’s Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll, for improving patient care and reducing hospital re-admissions.

The following medical centers received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award, recognizing commitment and success in implementing quality standards of care for stroke patients, according to evidence-based guidelines:

•Aurora Lakeland Medical Center
•Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center
•Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington
•Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center
•Aurora BayCare Medical Center

Recipients of the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award, recognizing commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted guidelines, include:

•Aurora Medical Center in Grafton;
•Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha;
•Aurora Medical Center in Summit
•Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County

Additionally, Aurora BayCare Medical Center has been recognized as a recipient of the Association’s Target: Stroke Honor Roll, for improving stroke care.
