Mark Lodes, MD, has been named president of Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Community Physicians. This joint clinical practice group will bring together more than 30 community clinics now being operated separately by Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW.) In fiscal 2012, more than 250 physicians practiced at these clinics which had combined patient visits exceeding 710,000.
Dr. Lodes has most recently served as chief medical officer of the Froedtert & The Medical College Clinical Ventures Group, where he developed and managed clinics since 2004.
“Dr. Lodes has an excellent track record of using data-driven best practice methods to provide great value to patients by delivering appropriate, timely care in the most cost-effective setting,” said Catherine Jacobson, Froedtert Health president and CEO.
John R. Raymond, Sr., MD, MCW’s president and chief executive officer, said, “Dr. Lodes has excellent insights that will allow him to build on the strong community-academic partnership between our two organizations.”
Board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Lodes also is a practicing physician. He completed residency training at MCW, where he earned his medical degree in 1997.
