The Elm Grove Library will be sponsoring a Words for Whiskers program throughout the month of March. This program is ideal for students in grades 1-5 who need a little extra practice reading out loud to an attentive listener like Dexter the cat.
Students may sign up for one 25-minute session per week for up to 4 weeks. For best results, students should come more than one time. Dexter and his owner, Wendy, are a registered therapy team through Pet Partners.
Dexter will be available on Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 4:30, 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. Please sign up for times at the Elm Grove Library at 262-782-6717.
