Screening of Award Winning movie "Gasland" Friday, March 16

March 14, 2012

You are invited to join us on Friday, March 16, 7:00 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church West (UUCW), 13001 W. North Ave, Brookfield, WI for a screening of "Gasland". The cost is free or donation.

"The largest domestic natural gas drilling boom in history has swept across the United States. The Halliburton-developed drilling technology of "fracking" or hydraulic fracturing has unlocked a "Saudi Arabia of natural gas" just beneath us. But is fracking safe? Have you heard of the large natural gas reserves found in Pennsylvania and Ohio? Do you know what “fracking” is? Is there a downside to cheap natural gas for the United States and Americans? Join us for a screening of Gasland to learn more. http://www.gaslandthemovie.com/

Any questions please contact the church office, uucw@uucw.org or 262/782-3535.
