Age: 21.

Height: 6-3.

Weight: 198.

Position: Cornerback.

Hometown: Oakland, Calif.

Lowdown: Caught the attention of personnel people everywhere with a terrific combine performance. Ran the 40-yard dash in 4.42 seconds; 39 ½-inch vertical leap and 26 on the Wonderlic. He posted the fastest time among cornerbacks in both the 3-cone drill and the 20-yard shuttle. “Was not highly rated until the combine,” said one scout. “When people saw how he ran and moved around his stock went up.” Started 34 games during a four-year career at Washington and played multiple positions — perimeter corner, slot corner and safety. Spent the final two seasons at cornerback and made honorable mention All-Pac-12 in 2015. Finished his career with 165 tackles, six interceptions and 28 PBUs. “I'm a man coverage type of guy,” King said at the combine. “We played man a lot, we had the personnel to do it, and the coaches trusted us to do it. I got comfortable with it. We mixed up a little zone in there too, and I can play in whatever scheme they put me in.” Immediately becomes the tallest and fastest cornerback on the roster among players contending for starting reps. Tallest cornerback in recent memory for the Packers. “It’s a blessing to be able to move like that and be at my size,” King said. “I just try and use it to my advantage."
