Louisville has moved ahead of the Clemson in the latest USA TODAY Sports bowl projections for the College Football Playoff.

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson runs the ball against Florida State.

While this may be bad news for Tigers fans, the team will have the chance to change everything when the two ACC rivals meet Saturday night. The winner takes a huge step toward making the field of four at the end of the year. But there's still challenges ahead. Each still has a tough road game later in the season with Louisville visiting Houston and Clemson traveling to Florida State.

Other changes to this week's projections have Texas A&M and Florida State moving into Big Six bowls, and Michigan State and Georgia falling out.
