USA TODAY Sports
Kris Bryant is the reigning National League MVP.

For the second consecutive year, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has the most popular selling major league baseball jersey.

The reigning National League MVP, who is coming off a historic year, is one of four Cubs players ranked  in the top five -- Anthony Rizzo (2nd), Javier Baez (4th ) and Kyle Schwarber (5th).

Six young rising stars are new to the list -- among them are Los Angeles Dodgers' Corey Seager and New York Yankees' Gary Sanchez. The average age of the top 20 players is 26-and-a-half – more than 1.5 years younger than any previous list’s mean age.

Mike Trout, two-time American League MVP, has appeared in every one of these rankings since his major league debut.

The list is based on sales from MLBShop.com of Majestic jerseys since culmination of 2016 World Series.
