Wauwatosa East's football team fell behind 42-0 at halftime in a 49-0 loss to Brookfield East on Sept. 23.

The Red Raiders are 0-6 on the season and 0-4 in Greater Metro play.

Brookfield East took a 7-0 lead on a 20-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jake Graf with 6:29 left in the first quarter.

Playing against the Red Raiders after missing the majority of the past two games due to an ankle injury, Spartan all-state running back Sam Santiago-Lloyd scored from 15 yards out with 2:39 left in the first quarter to put Brookfield East up, 14-0.

The Spartans (5-1, 3-1 Greater Metro) went up 21-0 when Ron Edwards scored off a blocked kick with 1:04 to play in the first quarter.

Justin Parbs and Gaven Post each had touchdown runs in the second quarter, while Joey Pagel returned an interception for a score.

Alex Ratas scored Brookfield East's lone touchdown of the second half on a 9-yard run with 5:39 left in the third quarter.

Wauwatosa East accumulated just 84 yards of total offense against Brookfield East, which entered ranked No. 10 in the Division 2 coaches poll.

The Red Raiders will host West Allis Hale (1-5, 0-4) for its homecoming game at Hart Park at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.

Hale's lone win of the season was a 35-13 victory over South Milwaukee on Aug. 26.

The Huskies have dropped Greater Metro contests to Brookfield East, Brookfield Central, West Allis Central and Sussex Hamilton.
