The Wauwatosa West girls track and field team finished fourth (47 points) at the 16-team Lois Wolf Invitational on March 21 to begin the week, finishing behind Germantown (78), Oak Creek (59.25) and Milwaukee King (51).

Azya McLin won the 200-meter dash (27.82), and Cheri'A Adams won the long jump (17 feet, 4 inches) and finished second (7.51 seconds) in the 55 dash.

Breanna Weigman was second in the high jump (4-10), Mercy Ndon (7.61) finished fourth in the 55 dash and Brianna Horton took fifth in the 200 (29.63).

Kayla Crump was fourth in the 55 hurdles (9.50) and sixth in the 400 (1:06.62).

Runner-up to Lancers

The Trojans finished second (59) to Brookfield Central (99) at the Performance Running Outfitters Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran March 19 at University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

Adams won the 55 dash (7.30), breaking the mark Brookfield Central's Chisom Obasih (7.34) set on March 16, 2013. She was also second in the long jump (16-11).

The 4x200 relay took first (1:50.27) behind McLin, Adams, Crump and Ndon, and McLin finished second in the 55 dash (7.40).

Finishing fourth were Anna Rogahn in the 1,600 (5:23.11) and Weigman in the high jump (J5-0).

Crump took fifth in the 55 hurdles (9.67), and the 4x400 relay took fifth (4:25.89) behind McLin, Adams, Chole Beaudoin and Crump.
