Wauwatosa West soccer
While there wasn't a win to show for it, Wauwatosa West's girls soccer team continued to play well in a 0-0 draw with Sussex Hamilton on April 11.
The tie left the Trojans, ranked No. 5 in Division 2, to enter spring break at 2-0-2 overall and 2-0-0 in the Woodland Conference.
"The girls played another strong match against a physical and athletic team without conceding any goals," Tosa West coach Ryan Bailey said. "Each team had chances and could have won it, but a draw was a fair result to both sides.
"Defenders do not usually get credit, but the back line of Chloe Beaudoin, Olivia Keenan, Kayla Stoffel, Chloe Pepke and Emily Wagy anchored the clean sheet and kept a dangerous team from scoring."
Hailey Orlowski made eight saves for her third clean sheet of the season.
Tosa West will return to action against Pius XI for a 6:30 p.m. match on Tuesday, April 25 at Whitman Middle School.
