Senior Danny Larson broke two program records to lead the Wauwatosa Hurricanes co-op boys swimming team to a 121-45 rout of Brown Deer/University School in its first Woodland Conference dual meet of the season on Dec. 14.

Larson set new Hurricanes boys swimming records in first-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100 breaststroke.

Cal Hartt, Caleb Vollmers and Nick Thuli also won multiple events for Wauwatosa. Hartt took first place in the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke; Vollmers won the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle; and Thuli won the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.

Foster LaGrange claimed first place in the 100 backstroke, and Jacob Lueck won the diving portion of the dual meet.

The Hurricanes will swim next at Shorewood in a Woodland Conference dual meet against the Greyhounds on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
