Wauwatosa West graduate Mickey Morgan was named UW-Whitewater's co-defensive player of the week in the Warhawks' 34-16 victory over UW-Stout on Nov. 12.

Morgan finished with three tackles, a pass breakup and an interception that set up a Whitewater touchdown. The senior defensive back intercepted the Blue Devils' quarterback at the 32-yard line of Stout. He later broke up a pass on third down of Stout's final possession of the game.

The Warhawks clinched the WIAC title with the win and will open the NCAA Division 3 playoffs at home against Lakeland at 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.
