Gov. Scott Walker joined GE employees, industry leaders, and members of the community at GE Healthcare in Wauwatosa Friday, Oct. 7 to celebrate the 17,000th LOGIQ E9, which was presented to the University of Wisconsin Health System. The LOGIQ E9 is the world's premier general imaging ultrasound system, which serves more than 600 million patients every year, according to a news release. This system helps meet the needs of healthcare providers and institutions through extraordinary image quality, enhanced workflow, and expert tools.
“We’ve proclaimed October as Manufacturing Month throughout the state, and today’s celebration of the 17,000th LOGIQ E9 ultrasound system is a perfect example of the quality products our state engineers,” Walker said. “This quality system has an enormous impact on healthcare professionals and patients around the world, and we’re proud to say it was developed and continues to be powered by Wisconsin engineers.”
