Legos @ Your Library: Legos will be available for children ages 4 to 6 to build with from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave. Wauwatosa high school Key Club members will be available to help.

Zumba Fitness FUNdraiser: Zumba instructor Lynette Ryan of Wisconsin Athletic Club will teach at the beginner level for this fundraiser at the Wauwatosa Woman’s Club, 1626 Wauwatosa Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Yoga sponsored by Inner Light Yoga Studios will be offered in the second half of the two-hour event. Genealogy Workshop: The Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave., will present a free genealogy workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hosted by the Annis Avery Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, this session will teach participants how to get started in genealogy and the services offered at the Milwaukee North Family History Center.

Samson Stomp: Take part in a 5-kilometer run, 2-mile run/walk, or quarter-mile kids run at the Milwaukee County Zoo, 10001 W. Bluemound Road, from 8 a.m. to noon. The run is limited to 1,500 runners. Race-day registration begins at 8 a.m. Information is available at milwaukeezoo.org.

Wisconsin Lutheran College Discovery Day: Learn more about life at Wisconsin Lutheran College by talking with professors, staff and coaches about the college’s academic and athletic programs, campus life and servant leadership focus. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Center for Arts and Performance, 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave., and ends at 12:15 p.m. Call Jessica in admissions at 414-443-8609 for information.

Rhyme Time: Children up to 3 years of age are invited to enjoy a 20-minute session featuring nursery rhymes, stories, songs, finger plays and more at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. at the Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave. An adult must attend with the child; older siblings are welcome.

Wednesday 1/18

Karaoke: Take the stage and sing during Karaoke Night at the Chancery, 7615 W. State St., at 9 p.m. This event is held every Wednesday.

Backgammon tourney: The Milwaukee Backgammon Club will host a tournament at 6:30 p.m. at Rounding Third Sports Bar & Grill, 6317 W. Bluemound Road. The tournament includes a Main Flight and a Consolation Flight — guaranteeing at least two 5-point matches for everyone who enters — plus an optional side pool. The entry fee is $6.
