Wauwatosa — a growing technology repair company which specializes in same-day electronics repairs opened in Wauwatosa Oct. 24.
uBreakiFix Wawautosa, located on Mayfair Road, repairs phones, tablets and computers, drones, hover boards and game consoles. The Wauwatosa shop is the fourth location for owner Rob Krecak, who owns three other stores in the Milwaukee area and plans for two more stores in the future.
"Wauwatosa is an under-served market for device repair," Krecak said. "There are a lot of great people here who have a variety of technology needs — from students to professionals. We plan to meet and exceed their expectations with the new store."
Led by millennial entrepreneur, and CEO and founder, Justin Wetherill, uBreakiFix services all brands of electronics and computers, repairing cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and most other technical problems at more than 250 stores across North America.
uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 by Wetherill and David Reiff, who later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to take their internet-based brand to physical locations. The company has filled a niche in the marketplace and grown organically, without debt, investors or consultants.
uBreakiFix Wauwatosa is the company's 11th location in Wisconsin, joining locations in Appleton, East Madison, Green Bay, Madison, Brookfield, Whitefish Bay, Milwaukee, Greenfield, West Milwaukee and Janesville.
"Even as we grow, customer satisfaction remains our number one priority," Wetherill said. "We look forward to answering the Wauwatosa community’s tech needs with the quality repair service and exceptional customer experience that consumers have come to expect."
uBreakiFix opened 79 stores through the third quarter of 2016 and expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.
Each repair from the brand comes with a 90-day warranty.
