Tosa Tonight concert series continues

The Tosa Tonight concert series continues from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, Aug. 17 and Aug. 31. Opening acts start at 6 p.m. and main acts begin at 7:30 p.m. Concerts are held at the Rotary Performance Pavilion at the southwest corner of 68th and State streets.

Food and beverages are available through vendor booths during the concerts.

The upcoming performances are Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts, with the Zach Pietrini Band July 27, Skerryvore with Jigjam Aug. 17, and The Crane Wives with Trapper Schoepp Aug. 31.

Golf event benefits Milwaukee County Zoo

Spend a day on the links with Milwaukee-area business leaders on Monday, July 25, at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee's 27th annual golfing fundraiser, Birdies & Eagles golf tournament. This tournament includes course events, auctions, a buffet lunch and a gourmet dinner at the Ozaukee Country Club in Mequon.

A few foursomes are still open.

Registration fees are $3,000 for a hole sponsorship (includes a foursome), $350 for an individual; and $1,400 for a foursome.
