offering full day K4 in fall

Tosa East Players to perform in Scotland

The Tosa East Players, the theatre group at Wauwatosa East High School, is one of 56 schools in North America to be invited to perform this summer in Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world's largest arts festival. The selection is based on the groupls performances in 2014.

Twenty students are preparing to perform the group's fall play at the festival: Shakespeare on Love. This is a collection of powerful scenes with the theme of love from various Shakespearean plays such as Taming of the Shrew, Romeo and Juliet, and Midsummer Night's Dream. In August 2016, we will pack up our director, actors, technical crew and chaperones and head to The Fringe for a week of performances.

The Tosa East Players are seeking community support to make the trip a reality. To help, visit the group's GoFundMe page at, or contact theater director Kate Sarner at (414) 773-2000 or
