Robbery

1A woman reported around 6:20 a.m. April 4 that two people attempted an armed robbery at McDonald's, 6631 W. North Ave.

Theft

2A man took $550.65 worth of liquor from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 8:55 a.m. April 3. The suspect was last seen entering the passenger seat of a black four-door vehicle.

3A woman was cited for retail theft and disorderly conduct at Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 3:15 p.m. April 3.

4A man was cited for retail theft at Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 6:50 p.m. April 3.

5A dump trailer was taken from the Hall Automotive parking lot, 11011 W. North Ave., around 11 a.m. April 4.

6A man took a $4,500 2001 Plymouth Neon while it was parked in the 1400 block of Martha Washington Drive around 2:25 p.m. April 4. The vehicle was taken without keys.

7A man was cited for retail theft at Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around 7 p.m. April 4.

8A woman reported someone entered her vehicle and took her wallet sometime between 4:10 and 4:30 p.m. April 3 at Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St.

9A man reported that sometime between 12:20 and 12:45 p.m. April 5, someone smashed the rear passenger side window of his vehicle and took $1,350 of property while it was parked at 2635 N. Mayfair Road.

10A juvenile was cited after taking a purse from an office in the 900 block of Glenview Avenue around 2 p.m. April 5. The purse and its contents were recovered at the scene and returned to the victim.

11Someone took a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 cellphone valued at $666 from a U.S. Cellular kiosk at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 11:40 p.m. April 5.

12A $475 Apple iPhone 6 was taken from the service desk at Nordstrom, 2424 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:40 p.m. April 6.

13A Home Depot manager reported around 1 p.m. April 6 that two people left the store, 4100 N. 124th St., with a large number of stolen power tools. The suspects' vehicle was later recovered in Milwaukee, along with some of the power tools.

14A man selected numerous liquor bottles around 4:40 p.m. April 6, placed them in a cart and pushed them out an entrance at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St. The total amount of items recovered was $301.91.

15A manager at The Cheesecake Factory, 2350 N. Mayfair Road, reported that between 6:30 and 6:42 p.m. April 6 someone entered and took about $631.03 from a server's book. About $484 of the money was in tips and $147.03 belonged to The Cheesecake Factory.

16A woman was cited for $332.20 in retail theft at Sephora, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 5:20 p.m. April 7.

17Sometime between 10:15 p.m. April 7 and 5:30 a.m. April 8, someone took a 2012 Royal Cargo trailer with construction tools inside totaling $13,050 in value while it was parked in the 6400 block of West Garfield Avenue.

18A man was cited for $99.99 in retail theft at Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around 11:25 p.m. April 8.

19A 2008 Lincoln was taken while it was parked at Whole Foods, 11100 W. Burleigh St., around 1:50 p.m. April 8. The victim posted the vehicle for sale on Craigslist and was meeting with the suspect at the Whole Foods parking lot when the vehicle was taken.

20A man took about $817.50 in sleepwear clothing from Victoria's Secret, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 2:10 p.m. April 8.

21A woman reported that between 8:45 a.m. and 2:35 p.m. April 8, someone forced entry into her locked vehicle and took a backpack. The total estimated theft amount of the backpack and its contents was $935.

22Someone took $294.97 worth of clothing from Saks Off 5th, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 2:52 p.m. April 9.

Drug possession

23A man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected possession of synthetic cannabinoid around 5:15 p.m. April 5 in the 2400 block of North 69th Street.

Driving while intoxicated

24A man was cited for second-offense drunken driving after he nearly struck a pedestrian crossing the street in the crosswalk on West State Street and North 72nd Street around 5:10 p.m. April 3. The man fled the scene after being confronted by the pedestrian and was later found hiding in a nearby yard.

25A woman was cited for second-offense drunken driving in the 2300 block of North 64th Street around 5:10 p.m. April 8 after her vehicle crashed into two parked cars. The woman was never issued a driver's license and her driving status was revoked due to her first OWI conviction. The woman's blood alcohol content level was .1.

26A man was cited for second-offense drunken driving after his vehicle struck a tree in front of 10405 W. Grantosa Drive around 7:30 p.m. April 8.
