Burglary

1Currie Park Auto Center, 10745 W. Capitol Drive, was burglarized by an unknown subject around 2:35 a.m. March 8. The business was forcibly entered and merchandise was taken.

2Between 10 p.m. March 9 and noon March 12, a home in the 1200 block of North 62nd Street was forcibly entered and an Apple laptop was taken.

Theft

3A bicycle was taken by an unknown suspect outside Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 5:10 p.m. March 6.

4A woman reported that sometime between Feb. 29 and March 7, someone tried to take her 2010 Dodge Stratus while it was parked in a driveway in the 10000 block of West Melvina Street. The vehicle's ignition cylinder had been punched out.

5Between 2 and 2:30 p.m. March 7, someone entered an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Red Lobster, 2801 N. Mayfair Road. Two wallets and a cell phone, totaling $770, were taken.

6An unknown man took three bottles of alcohol totaling $82.96 from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 7:15 p.m. March 7.

7A man reported that someone took the Wisconsin license plate from his vehicle around 8:40 p.m. March 7.

8A man was arrested for $80.97 in retail theft from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., after taking alcohol from the store.

9A woman was arrested for retail theft at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 12:20 a.m. March 8.

10A man was arrested for retail theft at Target, 3900 N. Mayfair Road, around 6:35 p.m. March 8. He concealed $75.86 worth of merchandise and passed the final point of sale.

11A woman was arrested for retail theft at Champs, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 11:25 a.m. March 9. Another unknown woman also committed retail theft at the store, but was not located. All stolen merchandise was recovered.

12A man was arrested for retail theft at Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around noon March 9.

13Around 12:35 p.m. March 9, unknown people entered Tosa Liquor, 6607 W. North Ave., concealed a $13.99 bottle of vodka and left the store without paying.

14Around 1:10 p.m. March 9, unknown people were observed by loss prevention officers at Dick's Sporting Goods, 11500 W. Burleigh St., selecting clothing items from a store display and then running out without paying. The total theft amount was $1,600.

15A man was arrested for retail theft at Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around 7:35 p.m. March 9. An investigation revealed the man committed a retail theft on March 4, too. Total value taken on both days came to $1,069.96.

16Between 5 p.m. March 9 and 5:30 a.m. March 10, unknown subjects entered a locked vehicle and garage in the 1800 block of North 119th Street and took property.

17Around 9:20 a.m. March 10, an unknown woman took four bottles of vodka valued at $141.46 from Walgreens, 6600 W. State St.

18Two men committed retail theft at Nordstrom, 2424 N. Mayfair Road, around 5:30 p.m. March 10 when they took 23 pairs of jeans totaling $4,095.

19An unknown man took three cellular phones from ATI Physical Therapy, 2323 N. Mayfair Road, around 5 p.m. March 10.

20A woman was arrested after she admitted to taking three decorative art pieces from the office building where she works, 10855 W. Potter Road, on March 11.

21A man was arrested for retail theft at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 6:15 p.m. March 11.

22An unknown man took a handgun from a vehicle while it was parked inside a parking garage in the 9600 block of West Hampton Avenue. The theft occurred sometime on March 11 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

23A man was arrested for retail theft and two outstanding warrants at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 11:35 p.m. March 12. Total value of theft was $616.36.

Driving while intoxicated

24A man was arrested for first-offense drunken driving around 2 a.m. March 6 in the 6500 block of Revere Avenue following a single vehicle crash. The man's blood alcohol content level was .14.

25A man was arrested for second-offense drunken driving in the 2400 block of North 124th Street around 8:40 a.m. March 8. An evidentiary chemical breath test yielded a blood alcohol content level of .18.

26A man was arrested for first-offense drunken driving during a traffic stop in the 62.5 block of West State Street.

27A man was arrested for first-offense drunken driving with a passenger under 16 years old a traffic stop near West Capitol Drive and North 98th Street. The man's blood alcohol content level was .19.

Drug possession

28A man was arrested for possession of narcotics during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of North 66th Street around 7:30 p.m. March 9.

29A woman was arrested for possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of North 71st Street around 5:20 p.m. March 12.

Other

30A woman reported finding a heroin kit by the restrooms in Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., around 5:20 p.m. March 8.

31Around 7:35 a.m. March 9, Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., received a phoned in bomb threat. Students were asked to leave the building the premises were searched by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit. Nothing suspicious was found.

32A man entered Steinkellner Decorating, 8834 W. North Ave., around 10:45 a.m. March 10 and exposed his genitals. The man then left the store and was last seen eastbound on West North Avenue riding a blue mountain bicycle.
