Woman's club hosts 'Wizard of Oz' preview

The Suburban Woman's Club of Wauwatosa presents a preview of Tosa West's Trojan Players 'Wizard of Oz' at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, at the Wauwatosa Civic Center, 7725 W. North Ave.

Adam Steffan, a theatre artist and Tosa West's theater director, will bring select Tosa West Trojan Players for an afternoon of entertainment.

The presentation is free and open to the public. Coffee and dessert will be served before the performance. Reservations are required.

Eisenhower's annual sale scheduled coming up

Eisenhower Elementary School will hold its 8th annual Children's Clothing and Toy Resale next month.

From 6 to 9 p.m. March 4. and from 9 a.m. to noon March 5 at the school, 11600 W. Center St., shoppers can purchase items that include children's clothing, baby furniture and equipment, toys, books and more.

Radon test kits available at Health Department

Radon, a cancer-causing and radioactive gas, has been found in all Wauwatosa ZIP codes, according to information from the city.

The Environmental Protection Agency and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes for radon below the third floor. The Wauwatosa Health Department, 7725 W. North Ave., has a limited supply of home testing kids available for $10 to screen single-family residences.
