Residents encouraged to join citizen academy
A program through the Wauwatosa School District Recreation Department could give residents answers to their burning questions about the city.
Do you wonder how the city handles recycling? Do you want to see inside a fire truck? Those questions could be answered through a program called Citizen Academy: Get to Know Wauwatosa.
Through the citizen academy, participants will meet government officials and gain a better understanding of how the city works throughout five Thursday evening sessions running April 7 through May 5.
Those interested may sign up for one, two or all five sessions, each costing $5. To learn more or to register, visit tosarec.com.
