Beauty Mark Boutique Salon, 6435-39 W. North Ave., has remodeled and expanded its services to add waxing, facials and all facets of skin care. Sarah Vanden Bush joins the founders, Keely Glorioso and Kimarie Boucher on the staff. She began seeing clients Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Foti Chiropractic sends boy, family to Hawaii

A 12-year-old Milwaukee boy living with a brain tumor has jetted off on a dream Hawaiian vacation, thanks to Foti Chiropractic, its patients and supporters.

The boy, Nikolas, traveled to Hawaii with his family after Foti Chiropractic of Wauwatosa raised more than $10,000 in 2015 to sponsor the trip through Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.

Nikolas is the fourth Make-A-Wish recipient whose dream vacation was funded by Foti Chiropractic. The Wauwatosa clinic has raised more than $31,000 for the charity since 2013.

City loan agency celebrates 25 years

The Wauwatosa Revolving Loan Fund Corporation, a group that provides financial support for businesses and nonprofit organizations, celebrated 25 years of improving the business climate in Wauwatosa.

Founded on May 31, 1990, the corporation has loaned more than $3 million to 33 retail service businesses including 13 restaurant, five health care businesses, two manufacturing businesses, two technology businesses, two community organizations and one church.

Mayor Kathy Ehley issued a proclamation declaring Feb. 2, 2016, as Wauwatosa Revolving Loan Fund Corporation Day.

'This board has been instrumental in growing the number of businesses in Wauwatosa, improving existing businesses and business neighborhoods, increasing the number of jobs and job opportunities and increasing the city's tax base,' Ehley said.
