Robbery

1A woman reported she was the victim of an attempted strong arm robbery around 1:40 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 8000 block of Rockway Place. The suspect attempted to steal her 2011 Honda Accord. During the incident, the suspect struck the victim numerous times on the head and neck.

Burglary

2Someone reported that an unknown actor forced entry into his detached garage in the 100 block of North 86th Street between 4 p.m. Jan. 14 and 2 p.m. Jan. 15. The suspect forced entry by cutting a screen on a window.

Theft

3Between midnight and 1:30 a.m. Jan. 10 an unknown suspect took property from a customer at AMF Bowlero, 11737 W. Burleigh St. There are no suspects or witnesses.

4An unknown suspect took a Willow Tree figurine valued at $38.99 from Family Christian Stores, 2525 N. Mayfair Road, around 3:35 p.m. Jan. 10.

5A man was arrested for $396 in retail theft at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, around 5:20 p.m. Jan. 10.

6A Dodge Caravan was taken from a parking lot in the 10600 block of West Capitol Drive between 4:45 p.m. Jan. 8 and 5:30 a.m. Jan. 11. The vehicle had a wheelchair access lift.

7An unknown male suspect took $853.05 worth of alcohol from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 6:55 a.m. Jan. 9.

8A man was arrested for retail theft and for obstructing an officer at Old Navy, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 2:15 p.m. Jan. 11.

9A woman was arrested for retail theft at Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 6:50 p.m. Jan. 11 after she took a $29.99 bottle of Absolute Vodka. The woman also had an outstanding warrant through the Wauwatosa Police Department.

10A female took purses from Saks Off 5th, 11500 W. Burleigh St., on Jan. 11.

11Two unknown males took $245.26 worth of candy from Walgreen's, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., around 8:45 p.m. Jan. 11.

12An unknown male and an unknown female took 10 PlayStation video games totaling $579.90 from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., between 2:37 a.m. and 3:37 a.m. Jan. 12.

13A male took three jackets valued at $600 from Eddie Bauer, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 10:45 a.m. Jan. 12.

14An employee of JC Penny, 11800 W. Burleigh St., was arrested for theft after she reduced the price of merchandise and shipped the merchandise to her own residence between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, causing a loss of $129.83.

15A Meijer loss prevention agent reported two males took 12 bottles of alcohol from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 4:10 a.m. Jan. 13.

16A man took six bottles of liquor from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 7:10 a.m. Jan. 13. He left the store, fleeing police by jumping into the bed of a pickup truck, which left the parking lot at a high speed.

17Sometime between 2 and 10 p.m. Jan. 12, an unknown person took credit cards from a victim's purse while it sat in a locked office at The Limited, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. The credit cards were then used at various locations throughout Milwaukee County.

18A woman reported around 1 p.m. Jan. 13 that an unknown male suspect took her purse from her truck while it was parked at 6817 W. Center St. The suspect left the area in a stolen 2009 Ford Escape. Police believe a separate incident is related; in that incident an unknown suspect took a $500 iPod and a $40 scanning tool from a vehicle in the 2400 block of North 63rd Street around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 13.

19A female took $196 worth of merchandise from Ulta, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13.

20An iPhone and a GPS unit were taken from a vehicle parked at the Greek Orthodox Church, 9400 W. Congress St., between 8:30 and 8:50 a.m. Jan. 14.

21A woman was observed concealing merchandise and leaving Old Navy, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 14. The woman is known for prior retail thefts at the store.

22An unknown female took $30.90 in merchandise from Bartz Display, 6931 W. North Ave., around 12:20 p.m. Jan. 14.

23A suspect took two pairs of sunglasses valued at $600 from Sunglass Hut at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 3 p.m. Jan. 15. Police believe the same suspect took two more pairs of sunglasses valued at $795 from the store around 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15.

24A 2010 Audi was taken while parked in a driveway in the 2400 block of North 91st Street around 8 a.m. Jan. 16.

25Two Fed-Ex packages were taken from an apartment building at 11152 W. Meinecke Ave. between 11:18 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Jan. 13.

26An unknown man committed retail theft at Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 3 p.m. Jan. 16.

Driving while intoxicated

27A man was arrested for second-offense drunken driving during a traffic stop in the 7100 block of West State Street around 1:50 a.m. Jan. 10. A chemical blood test of the man's breath yielded a blood alcohol content level of .18.

28A man was arrested for first-offense drunken driving and for driving the wrong way on a divided highway around 3:20 a.m. Jan. 19. The incident occurred during a crash investigation in the 3500 block of North Mayfair Road. Results from a chemical blood test are pending.

Drug possession

29A man was arrested for possession of marijuana around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 1200 block of North Mayfair Road following a suspicious circumstance complaint.

30A man was arrested for possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and a felony warrant during an investigation around 8:50 p.m. Jan. 15 near North 60th Street and West North Ave.
