Robbery

1A strong armed robbery occurred in the 2400 block of Wauwatosa Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Jan. 5.

Burglary

2Someone forcibly entered a vehicle parked in an alley near the 9000 block of Stickney Avenue between 8 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. Jan. 3. The same suspect then entered the owner of the vehicle's garage, using the garage door opener located inside the vehicle from the alley. The only item reported missing is the garage door opener.

Theft

3A man took an electronic toothbrush, electric nail files and soap, together totaling $331.54, from Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., around 9:40 a.m. Jan. 3.

4A man took four pairs of Buckle brand jeans, valued at $159.99 each, from Buckle, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 3.

5A woman's purse was taken from a vehicle parked at 10200 W. Bluemound Road, between noon and 12:55 p.m. Jan. 3. The total value of the purse and its contents is about $174.

6Around 1:40 p.m. Jan. 3, an unknown man and woman took nine jackets from Abercrombie and Fitch, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

7A man was arrested for theft at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., after he took four different items on three different days, while employed by Meijer. The total loss was $86.97.

8Suspects took $1,298 worth of merchandise from Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 3:30 p.m. Jan. 3.

9A 2012 Toyota Tundra was taken between 8 and 8:40 a.m. Jan. 4 in the 8800 block of West North Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked and left running.

10Two unknown male suspects took portable speakers from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 1:15 a.m. Jan. 4. Police believe a related incident, where a man took one portable speaker valued at $149.95 from Meijer Foods, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 5:45 a.m. Jan. 4 is related.

11Around 12:40 p.m. Dec. 31, someone entered Lowes, 12000 W. Burleigh St., selected two items valued at $453 and immediately proceeded to return the items at the service desk. The subject was given a merchandise card for $478.37.

12An unknown female suspect took $31.98 worth of merchandise from Walgreens 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., around 10 a.m. Jan. 5.

13An unknown woman took $85.94 worth of clothing from Nordstrom Rack, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 3:15 p.m. Jan. 5. The woman struggled with loss prevention when confronted, but authorities ultimately got the clothing back. As the woman left the store, she grabbed several pieces of jewelry from a display and fled.

14A woman was arrested for embezzlement around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

15A woman was arrested for retail theft at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 4:40 p.m. Jan. 6.

16A woman fraudulently purchased 20 Pick 'n Save gift cards worth $1,244 using customer credit cards while working at the grocery store, 1717 N. Mayfair Road. The woman also gave away $330.43 in groceries during the transactions in an attempt to offset the amount of some of the gift cards she purchased.

17Around 5:10 p.m. Jan. 6, an unknown suspect took a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses worth $184.99 from Sunglass Hut, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

18A man took four bottles of cognac totaling $159.96 and four bottles of tequila totaling $103.96 from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 9 p.m. Jan. 6.

19A man took eight bottles of alcohol totaling $215.92 from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 9:10 a.m. Jan. 7.

20On Jan. 10, someone was arrested for incidents of theft that occurred at Luther Manor, 4545 N. 92nd St.

21A man was arrested for $26.36 in theft a Pick 'n Save, 1717 N. Mayfair Road.

22A man was arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at O'Reilly Auto Parts, 6102 W. North Ave., around 2:30 p.m. Jan. 7. The man was an employee at the business and conducted 20 fraudulent returns between Dec. 3 and Jan. 4, totaling $1,142.35.

23Someone took a USPS package from a home in the 4700 block of North 100th Street sometime after 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7.

24A man took $71.92 worth of body wash from Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., around 11:30 a.m. Jan. 9.

25A man was arrested for retail theft around 1:10 p.m. Jan. 9 at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, for taking approximately $123 in merchandise.

26A woman reported her iPhone was taken in the food court at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 9:50 a.m. Jan. 9.

Driving while intoxicated

27A man was arrested for drunken driving during a traffic stop in the 7300 block of West Bluemound Road at 2 a.m. Jan. 9. The man submitted to a chemical breath test, which yielded a blood alcohol content level of. .17.

Drug possession

28A man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of North 72nd Street around 1:50 a.m. Jan. 3.

29A man was arrested around 6:45 p.m. Jan. 4 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2500 block of North 62nd Street.

Other

30A man was arrested for battery to a public transit officer, which occurred around 3:30 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 8100 block of West Wisconsin Avenue.
