Burglary

1A home in the 1200 block of Kavanaugh Place was burglarized between 3:45 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 28. Entry was made through the front door, which was left unlocked, and numerous items were taken.

2Jewelry and money was taken from an apartment at 6100 W. State St., between 4 p.m. Dec. 30 and 5 p.m. Dec. 31. An unknown suspect entered the apartment through an unlocked patio door.

3A laptop was taken from a vehicle in a garage in the 2500 block of North 85th Street between 6 p.m. Jan. 1 and 10 a.m. Jan. 2.

Theft

4A 1999 Dodge Caravan valued at $2,150 was taken with keys between 11 p.m. Dec. 26 and 4:20 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 5800 block of West Wisconsin Avenue.

5A man was arrested for retail theft and for two warrants around 3:25 p.m. Dec. 27 after he took a bottle of liquor valued at $33.99 from Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave.

6A woman took $51.16 worth of groceries from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 4:55 p.m. Dec. 28. The woman was detained by store loss prevention personnel and turned over to Wauwatosa police.

7Two packages were taken from a front porch in the 6200 block of West North Avenue between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Dec. 28.

8A man was arrested for retail theft at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 9:50 a.m. Dec. 29.

9Two juveniles took about $850 worth of merchandise from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 10:05 a.m. Dec. 29.

10A man was arrested for $301.83 in retail theft at Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around 3:55 p.m. Dec. 29.

11A man was arrested for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at Pick 'n Save, 1717 N. Mayfair Road.

12A man was arrested for $69.98 in retail theft at Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 29.

13Two rugs and a comforter set in total valued at $280 were taken from At Home, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, by a woman accompanied by three juveniles around 9:50 p.m. Dec. 29.

14A package left on the front doorstep of a home in the 9700 block of Grantosa Drive was taken sometime Dec. 14.

15A 2006 Land Rover was taken from a driveway in the 2400 block of North 73rd Street around 5:45 p.m. Dec. 30.

16A camera was taken from a home in the 2000 block of Sunset Court between 7:15 a.m. Dec. 28 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 30.

17Four unknown men took about $1,000 in merchandise from Saks, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 7:35 p.m. Dec. 30.

18Two women were arrested for $120 in retail theft at Oshkosh B'Gosh/Carters, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 7:40 p.m. Dec. 30.

19A woman was arrested around 2 p.m. Dec. 31 for embezzlement of money from her employer, At Home, 3201 N. Mayfair Road.

20A $600 Toshiba laptop and a checkbook were taken from an unlocked 2013 GMC Terrain SUV while it was parked at Goodwill, 12121 W. Feerick St., between 10:15 and 11:05 a.m. Dec. 31.

21A purse was taken from a vehicle while it was parked at Goodwill, 12121 W. Feerick St., between 8 a.m. and 3:05 p.m. Dec. 31.

22Unknown actors took construction equipment from a locked trailer in the 1200 block of North 62nd Street between 3 p.m. Dec. 31 and 7 a.m. Jan. 2. The total theft amount was $6,560 and damage to the trailer was $350.

23A male suspect took $264.95 in liquor from Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St., around 8:30 a.m. Jan. 1.

24A 2002 Dodge Intrepid was taken without keys in the 11000 block of Maple Lane between 3 and 4 p.m. Jan. 2.

25A vehicle was taken from a parking lot in the 1800 block of North Mayfair Road around 4:20 p.m. Jan. 2. The vehicle was unlocked and had three sets of keys in the glove department.

26Three people were arrested for being in possession of 31 pieces of stolen meat products from Pick 'n Save, 1717 N. Mayfair Road, around 5 p.m. Jan. 2. The meat was valued at $565.70.

27Someone took a $240 jacket from Abercrombie and Fitch at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 5:45 p.m. Jan. 2.

Driving while intoxicated

28A woman was arrested for first-offense drunken driving in the 10400 block of West Burleigh Street around 6:30 a.m. Dec. 28. The woman refused a chemical blood test.

29A woman was arrested for second-offense drunken driving in the 10400 block of West North Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 30. Results from a blood test are pending.

Other

30Two juveniles were arrested for resisting and obstructing an officer around 2:30 p.m. Dec. 27 at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. The juveniles led police on a foot pursuit into the mall after they were seen near a stolen vehicle.
