Several residents reported hearing five to seven gunshots at approximately 9:09 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 6300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue. Arriving officers found five 9 mm shell casings in the roadway at the site. A suspect was spotted heading west in the 6400 block of West Wisconsin Avenue in a smaller dark-colored two-door sedan.

After an attempted traffic stop for reckless driving at approximately 2:52 p.m. July 30 in the 2600 block of Mayfair Road a suspect eluded the officer after a pursuit that lasted 34 seconds and reached a top speed of 92 mph.

At 4 p.m. July 30 a juvenile was arrested for a warrant issued by the Greendale Police Department and retail theft at Old Navy, 11500 W. Burleigh St.

At approximately 4:10 p.m. July 30 a victim reported that they were bitten by a dog in the 116th block of Watertown Plank Road. The juvenile victim sustained injuries to the left side of the face and the dog's owner was cited for keeping a vicious dog.

A person reported at 12:02 p.m. July 30 that someone in a red Ford Explorer cut him off and a passenger in the rear seat of the vehicle pointed a red handgun at him in the 7300 block of West North Avenue.

At 12:40 p.m. July 31 a person was arrested for a warrant issued by the Greenfield Police Department in the 2400 block of North 66th Street.

Two suspects were arrested at 2:51 p.m. July 31 on warrants during a traffic stop in the 9500 block of West North Avenue. One of the suspects was also arrested for obstructing an officer for providing two false names.

A person reports that between midnight and 8 a.m. Aug. 1 someone broke the passenger side window on a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of North 67th Street.

At 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1 a person was arrested for disorderly conduct and loitering/prowling in the 2000 block of Wauwatosa Avenue.

At 7:39 p.m. Aug. 1 a person was arrested for disorderly conduct at the intersection of West North Avenue and North 60th Street.

A victim reported that at about 11:14 a.m. Aug. 2 a person struck the victim in the face with a cane while waiting for a bus at the southeast corner of Wauwatosa Avenue and West North Avenue.

A person reported at 2:38 p.m. Aug. 2 that they received a fraudulent check from Publishers Clearing House in the 1700 block of North 116th Street.

At 11:53 p.m. Aug. 2 a person was arrested for a warrant issued by the city of West Bend during a traffic stop at the BP gas station at 7532 W. Center St.

At approximately 4:45 p.m. Aug. 4 a juvenile was the victim of a dog bite in the 100 block of Glenview Boulevard.

At 4:44 p.m. Aug. 5 a person was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant issued by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office during a field interrogation at Walgreen's, 2656 N. Wauwatosa Ave.

Theft

At approximately 1:25 a.m. July 30 a juvenile was arrested for a curfew violation in the 6900 block of West North Avenue.

At 4:23 p.m. July 31 four juveniles were arrested in a vehicle listed as stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department in the Mayfair Mall Parking lot at 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

At about 3:45 p.m. July 31 a person reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in a driveway in the 2300 block of North 83rd Street. A witness reported that two juveniles committed the theft and left the scene in a silver, rusty minivan.

Between 3 and 9 p.m. July 27 an unknown person entered a victim's unlocked vehicle and stole two credit cards that were later used at the Apple Store and Target.

At 7:14 p.m. July 31 a person reported the theft of a wallet from a vehicle which was parked in front of a residence in the 2400 block of Pasadena Boulevard. The wallet was later recovered in the intersection of West Wright Street and North 84th Street and the suspect is a 16- to 18-year-old female with long braided hair, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 110 to 120 pounds. 

Between 7:10 and 7:20 p.m. July 31 a suspect stole a mobile phone from an unlocked vehicle in an alley in the 2600 block of North 75th Street. The suspect was driving an older light gray, rusty Dodge Caravan and was seen headed north on North 74th Street from West Clarke Street.

A person reported that sometime between 10 p.m. July 31 and 5:50 a.m. Aug. 1 someone stole a vehicle from the alley in the 2600 block of North 68th Street. A neighbor's video shows the car leaving the alley eastbound on West Clarke Street at 3:57 a.m.

A person reported that between 9 p.m. July 31 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 1 someone broke the window of a vehicle and stole a GPS unit in the 6600 block of West Clarke Street.

Sometime between 8:15 p.m. July 31 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 1 a car was entered and property removed in the 104th block of Woodward Avenue.

Sometime between midnight and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 2 someone stole a vehicle in the 3100 block of Knoll Terrace. The vehicle was later recovered by the Milwaukee Police Department in the 5800 block of Valley Forge Drive.

A victim reports that at 11:29 a.m. Aug. 2 someone stole a vehicle while it was parked in the 1200 block of Dewey Avenue.

At approximately 9:09 p.m. Aug. 2 two people were arrested for retail theft at Meijer Foods, 11111 W. Burleigh Street and one of the suspects was also arrested for a warrant issued by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

At about 11:57 a.m. Aug. 3 a juvenile stole a demo laptop from the Microsoft kiosk at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

Between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Aug. 3 someone broke into a vehicle in the 2700 block of North Mayfair Road and stole a satellite radio and a backup camera.

At 1:19 p.m. Aug. 3 a car was stolen in the 103rd block of Sunset Drive. There are no suspects at this time.

At 2:58 p.m. Aug. 3 a person reported a theft of mail which has occurred since June 15 in the 1500 block of Martha Washington Drive.

At 11:37 a.m. Aug. 3 two phones and a watch were taken from the Apple Store in Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. There are no suspects at this time.

At about 1:35 p.m. Aug. 4 a person was arrested for retail theft at Sentry, 6700 W. State St. for taking $379.31 worth of merchandise.

Sometime between 9:55 and 10:15 a.m. Aug. 4 a package containing jewelry was stolen in the 2500 block of North 67th Street.

Drug possession

At approximately 7:43 p.m. July 30 two people were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and for outstanding warrants in an alley in the 8400 block of Hill Street following a suspicious circumstances investigation.

At 5:48 p.m. Aug. 2 a person was arrested for possession of drugs and a warrant during a traffic stop investigation in the 2500 block of North 61st Street.

At 4:22 p.m. a person was arrested for possession of crack cocaine in the parking lot at 6810 W. State St.

Burglary

At 3:44 a.m. July 31 a person was arrested for burglarizing Breeze Thru Liquor, 11104 W. Bluemound Road.

Sometime between 4 a.m. July 31 and 1 a.m. Aug 1 a suspect burglarized a home in the 3600 block of North 124th Street and took personal checks and a laptop computer.

At approximately 1:50 a.m. Aug. 1 four suspects burglarized the Sprint Store at 3860 N. 124th Street. The suspects were described as a male wearing a red shirt and blue jeans, a male wearing a white tank top and dark-colored pants, a male wearing a black shirt and red pants and a female wearing a gray/black jacket, blue jeans and a red and yellow hat. The suspects were driving a silver or gray minivan.

OWI

At 9:27 p.m. Aug. 4 a person was arrested for driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated - first offense during a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Mayfair Road. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.16.

At 2:58 p.m. Aug. 5 a person was arrested for operating under the influence with a minor in the vehicle and possession of narcotics during a traffic stop in the 2500 block of North 68th Street.
