Burglary

April 18 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. an unknown suspect burglarized a residence in the 2100 block of North 63rd Street. The home was accessed by climbing a balcony and opening an unlocked door.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. April 20 someone attempted to pick a deadbolt lock on a detached garage in the 900 block of Glenview Avenue. The lock was damaged but there was no entry gained into the garage.

April 22 at approximately 6:26 a.m. a person reported that an unknown person entered a residence, took keys and stole a car in the 1600 block of North 120th Street.

Drugs

April 21 at 3:08 a.m. a person was arrested for possession of cocaine at Extended Stay America, 11121 W. North Ave.

OWI

April 16 at approximately 3:45 a.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated - first offense in the 2600 block of North 75th Street. A breath test resulted in a blood alcohol content of 0.14. In addition a passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody for two outstanding warrants issued by the Greenfield and Brown Deer police departments.

In the 700 block of North Mayfair Road a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated - third offense and possession of heroin and cocaine April 16 at 9:48 p.m. A chemical blood test was taken and the results are pending.

Near the on-ramp of North Mayfair Road and Highway 41/45 a person was arrested for operating under the influence - third offense during a traffic stop April 18 at 1:47 a.m. A chemical blood test result is pending.

April 20 at approximately 12:40 a.m. a person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated - first offense at the intersection of North Mayfair Road and Watertown Plank Road. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.20.

In the 900 block of West Bluemound Road a person was arrested for operating under the influence - first offense during a traffic stop April 21 at 12:24 a.m. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.09.

April 21 at 3:08 a.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated - first offense after a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Mower Court.

Theft

An unlocked vehicle was broken into and a GPS unit was stolen sometime between 11:30 p.m. April 15 and 7:30 a.m. April 16 at in the 1600 block of North 69th Street.

A vehicle that was reported stolen from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport was found in the 2300 block of North 60th Street April 16 at 7:44 p.m.

April 17 at approximately 4:12 p.m. a person was taken into custody for forgery of a financial transaction card during an investigation at Whole Foods, 11100 W. Burleigh Street.

At approximately 5:16 p.m. April 17 a person was arrested for retail theft of $237 worth of merchandise at Boston Store, 2400 North Mayfair Road.

April 13 at approximately 2:15 p.m. a package was stolen from a porch in the 6700 block of West Wells Street. There were several calls of packages taken from other residences in the area. A resident described a suspected vehicle that may be involved as a light blue pickup truck with a matching cap and rust around the wheel wells.

A person reported that sometime between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. April 18 someone stole their iPhone from a meeting room at the Radisson, 2303 N. Mayfair Road.

April 18 at approximately 7:02 p.m. a person was arrested for retail theft at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road for taking $435.99 worth of merchandise.

A fraudulent return was attempted in the amount of $316.79 and a person was arrested at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road April 19 at about 10:10 a.m.

In the 3300 block of North Knoll Boulevard a person reported that their unlocked car that had been parked in the driveway was entered and a backpack containing a laptop and a checkbook was taken April 19 at about 4:30 a.m.

A vehicle was stolen from a garage in the 122nd block of Woodland Avenue April 19 sometime between 10 a.m. and 12:40 p.m.

April 19 at approximately 3 p.m. a person attempted to cash a fraudulent check at Associated Bank, 2645 N. Mayfair Road. A witness described the suspect as approximately 38 to 42 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds.

At approximately 6:03 p.m. April 19 a person reported a theft of a wallet that occurred between 5:30 and 5:40 p.m. at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. A suspect was described as a male, 13 to 15 years old, 5 feet to 5 feet 1 inches tall, 80 to 100 pounds and last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt.

April 21 at 12:43 p.m. in the 2000 block of Ludington Avenue a person reported that a red trailer was stolen from a backyard sometime between March 1 and March 15.

Robbery

April 20 at 9:40 a.m. a person reported that an unknown female stole the purse of an elderly person in the parking lot of CVS Pharmacy at 7520 W. Bluemound Road.

A person was the victim of the taking of a purse by physical force in the parking lot of Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St. April 20 at 7:55 p.m. The suspect is described as a female, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a large build and was seen entering the passenger side of a silver minivan with tinted windows.

Other

During a traffic stop in the 6900 block of West Center Street April 16 at 9:37 p.m. a person was arrested on a warrant issued by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.

April 17 at approximately 8:57 a.m. a person was arrested on open warrants during a traffic stop in the 6800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

April 18 at approximately 6:57 p.m. a person was arrested for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants at Best Buy, 2401 N. Mayfair Road.

Between 6 and 6:30 a.m. April 18 a person's vehicle was damaged while parked in a parking lot at 9991 W. North Avenue.

In the 2500 block of Lefeber Avenue a screen was cut and access to a home attempted April 18 between 10:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Between 7 and 10 p.m. April 19 an unknown person sprayed paint on the bathroom building near the softball field and a maintenance building in Hart Park, 7300 Chestnut St.

April 20 at 11:06 a.m. a person was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a field interrogation stop behind Best Buy, 2401 N. Mayfair Road.

A person was arrested for panhandling at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road April 20 at 1:55 p.m.

April 20 at 7:15 p.m. a person was arrested on a warrant issued by the West Allis Police Department in the area of North 74th Street and West North Avenue.

A person was arrested on a warrant issued by the Oak Creek Police Department in the Wauwatosa Cemetery, 2445 Wauwatosa Ave. April 22 at about 1:05 p.m.

April 22 sometime between 7 and 10:18 p.m. someone smashed a windshield while the car was parked in the lower Harwood parking lot, 7735 Harwood Ave.
