A person reported that they found a handgun April 3 sometime between 10:30 and 11 a.m. at Currie Park Golf Course, 3535 N. Mayfair Road. A check revealed the handgun had been reported as stolen by the Waukesha County Sherriff’s Office and was used in an attempted homicide.

April 2 at approximately 9 p.m. someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle while it was parked in the 6800 block of West Wells Street.

A person who lives in the 110th block of North Avenue reported April 4 at 9:18 a.m. that April 1 someone attempted to use the reporting person’s debit card fraudulently.

April 4 at 1:14 p.m. a person reported that someone attempted to use a counterfeit $10 bill at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2635 N. Mayfair Road.

At approximately 3:38 p.m. April 4 a person was arrested during a traffic stop for operating after revocation and an outstanding warrant issued by the Brown Deer Police Department in the 6200 block of West Center Street. The revocation was for an alcohol-related offense.

April 4 at 8:01 p.m. a person was arrested on a warrant issued by the Sauk County Sheriff's Office and for disorderly conduct during a traffic stop in the 6900 block of West State Street.

A person was arrested in the 9700 block of Grantosa Drive April 5 at approximately 12:18 a.m. for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wauwatosa Police Department.

April 6 at 4:45 p.m. a person was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections during a traffic stop in the Mayfair Mall parking lot, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

April 6 at 11:01 p.m. a person was arrested in the 100th block of West Burleigh Street for two warrants issued by the Butler Police Department.

A person was arrested at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, on a warrant issued by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office April 7 at 1:04 p.m.

April 7 at 4:14 p.m. a person was arrested for a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and a warrant issued by the West Allis Police Department at the intersection of Highway 45 and West Capitol Drive.

A person reported that a dog was bitten by another dog in the 1500 block of North 122nd Street April 8 at 2:29 p.m.

April 8 at 4:49 p.m. a person was arrested for domestic violence – battery, operating a motor vehicle without consent and possession of cocaine in the 2600 block of North 62nd Street.

At approximately 11:09 p.m. April 8 a person was arrested as a fugitive during a suspicious circumstances investigation in the 80th block of West Wisconsin Avenue.

Theft

April 2 at 12:14 a.m. two unknown males attempted to steal a parked car occupied by a juvenile in the parking lot of Qdoba, 1417 Wauwatosa Ave. The suspects left the area on foot and are described as a male in his early- to mid-20s, 5 feet to 5 feet 6 inches tall, average build wearing a light-colored shirt, and a male with a black or dark-colored shirt.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. April 1 and 7 a.m. April 2 an unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle located in the 2200 block of North 69th Street and removed property valued at $100.

A person reported that someone stole a wallet with $190 in cash from the food court at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. The credit cards in the wallet were used to purchase goods at Target, 3900 N. 124th St. in the amount of $2,680.23.

In the 3000 block of North 117th Street items were stolen from a vehicle that was accessed by smashing a window April 3 between 3 and 4:14 p.m.

April 3 at 7:16 p.m. a person reported that someone smashed the window of their vehicle and stole items valued at $205 in the 2700 block of North Mayfair Road.

A vehicle was stolen April 5 between 7:20 and 7:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

April 6 at approximately 2:45 p.m. a person reported a stolen vehicle that was taken without keys in the 2100 block of North 73rd Street.

At Macy’s in Mayfair Mall a person took $1,000 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying April 6 at 10:22 a.m. The suspect is described as a male, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 149 pounds, with a “lazy eye” and wearing a blue polo zip-up jacket with a hood and a white baseball cap. The suspect left the area in a white Dodge Charger.

In the 1400 block of Underwood Avenue a person reported that someone had entered their vehicle and took items valued at $705 April 6 between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m.

OWI

April 3 at 12:35 a.m. a person was arrested for operating under the influence – second offense during a traffic stop in the 6000 block of West Center Street. Results of the blood alcohol test are pending.

A person was arrested for driving under the influence – first offense during a traffic stop near the intersection of North 76th Street and West Bluemound Road April 3 at 4:52 p.m.

April 6 at 12:09 a.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense in the 1300 block of North 72nd Street. A blood alcohol test was refused.

In the 7800 block of Harwood Avenue a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense after a traffic stop April 8 at 12:23 a.m.

April 8 at 1:23 a.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense at the intersection of North Mayfair Road and West Fiebrantz Avenue.

April 8 at 2:42 a.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense in the 2700 block of North Mayfair Road. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.21.

A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated – first offense in the 6300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue April 8 at 9:31 p.m. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.16.

April 8 at 11:18 p.m. a person was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense during a traffic stop in the 8300 block of West Bluemound Road.

Drug possession

April 3 at 2:58 p.m. a suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana in the parking lot of Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave.

A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 6400 block of West Center Street April 4 at 7:58 p.m.

April 5 at 6:40 p.m. a juvenile was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the parking lot of Subway, 6733 W. North Ave.
