Theft

In the 2200 block of North 67th Street it was reported that sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 1 and 10 a.m. Jan. 2 someone damaged a vehicle in an attempt to steal it while it was parked in a driveway.

Jan. 2 at approximately 11:30 p.m. a person was arrested for retail theft and five open warrants at Meijer Foods, 11111 W. Burleigh St.

Sometime between 8 p.m. Jan. 2 and 11 a.m. Jan. 3 someone stole the license plate from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of North 64th Street.

Jan. 3 at 11:21 a.m. tools and equipment were stolen from a vehicle parked in a parking lot at 7735 Harwood Ave.

At approximately 8:50 a.m. Jan 3 a work vehicle was entered and property removed while it was parked in the parking lot at Lowe's, 12000 W. Burleigh St.

A display phone was stolen from the AT&T Kiosk in Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, sometime 6 p.m. Dec. 31 and 10 a.m. Jan. 1.

Jan. 4 someone stole two pair of headphones from the Apple Store in Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

Jan. 5 someone stole a pair of headphones from the Apple Store in Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

At the Speedway Gas Station, 6804 W. North Ave., a person reached over the counter and took 27 packs of cigarettes without paying for them Jan. 6 at 6:21 a.m.

Jan. 6 at approximately 11:31 a.m. in the Akira at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, a suspect took $1,030 worth of merchandise and left the scene in a blue Sable. The police spotted the vehicle as it traveled northbound on Mayfair Road at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was found a short time later after it crashed into a tree at the intersection of Mayfair Road and Menomonee River Parkway.

Jan. 6 at 8:48 p.m. four people committed a grab and run retail theft at Saks Off 5th Ave, 11500 W. Burleigh St. The suspects stole approximately 25 purses valued at $4,500.

A person was arrested for retail theft at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, Jan. 7 at 10:11 a.m. The suspect also had a valid warrant issued by the Department of Corrections.

Burglary

Sometime between 10 p.m. Jan. 2 and 10:46 a.m. Jan. 3 an unknown person forced entry into a vacant residence in the 111th block of West Ruby Place.

The front door of a residence in the 4100 block of North 93rd Street was kicked in sometime between 1:40 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Jan. 4.

OWI

A person was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated - fourth offense after being pulled over for driving an estimated 55 mph in a 25 mph zone Jan. 5 at 6:45 p.m. in the 6100 block of West North Avenue.

Other

Jan. 1 at 12:49 p.m. a person was arrested on a warrant issued by the Greenfield Police Department during a traffic stop at the corner of North 70th Street and West Bluemound Road.

A vehicle was vandalized while parked in the Red Lobster parking lot, 2801 N. Mayfair Road, Dec. 31 at 6 p.m.

Jan. 1 at 8:21 p.m. a person reported that they were struck with a closed fist and struck in the face with a glass lamp, causing injury. The alleged suspect was not apprehended in the incident that occurred in the 6100 block of West State Street.

A vehicle parked in the Mayfair Mall parking lot, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, was vandalized Jan. 1 between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,000.

A suspect was arrested for simple battery during an incident in the 107th block of West York Place Jan. 3 at 4:27 a.m.

Jan. 3 at 9:30 a.m. a juvenile was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon on school premises at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St.

Jan. 4 at approximately 12:12 a.m. a person was arrested for a valid warrant issued by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office following a traffic stop in the 6100 Block of W. Bluemound Road.

It was reported Jan. 4 at 6:07 p.m. at Walgreens, 6600 W. State St., a counterfeit $100 was used as payment by an unknown person.

Jan. 5 at approximately 12:43 a.m. a suspect was arrested for a warrant through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office in the 6300 block of West State Street.

A person was arrested for loitering/prowling while at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 10499 Innovation Drive Jan. 6 at 12:10 p.m.

Jan. 7 at approximately 10:24 a.m. a battery in progress was reported at AJ Bombers, 11340 W. Burleigh St. A caller reported that a male was striking a female in the parking structure behind the restaurant. Officers on the scene reported that the disagreement was over payment for intimacy the night prior. One person was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

At approximately 3:17 p.m. Jan. 7 a person was arrested at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, on two open warrants issued by the Mequon Police Department.

A person was arrested for disorderly conduct Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St.

Jan. 7 at 11:46 p.m. a person caused a disturbance and damaged property in the 6700 block of W. Bluemound Road. The suspect was not present when the police arrived and the police department is requesting charges of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse.
