York County Chief Deputy District Attorney Dave Sunday said that Delta area residents rose to challenge the scourge of the heroin epidemic, once they realized it had hit their neighborhoods.

"Through their hard work, not only have they provided an outlet for kids (evening activities) , they have cooperated with law enforcement," Sunday said. "It's easier for police to arrest drug dealers when the community works with police to get that done."
