Do you have a neighbor, family member or friend who made Wauwatosa a better place in 2016?
If so, the time has come to nominate them for the 2016 Wauwatosa Citizen of the Year award.
Nominations may be made by any person, group of persons, or organization, but self-nominations will not be accepted. The required nomination forms are available at the city clerk’s office in city hall, the Wauwatosa Public Library or on the city website. You may also make a nomination via email by requesting an electronic copy of the form from Patrick McNally at Patrick.email@example.com.
The deadline for nominations to be received by the Wauwatosa city clerk is Monday, Jan. 9.
Since 1964, the Wauwatosa Distinguished Award Council has annually recognized qualified individuals who have made a distinguished contribution to the community. Mike and Judy Doyle won the award in 2015.
The 2016 Citizen of the Year is slated to be recognized in April at Blue Mound Golf and Country Club.
