The BMO Harris Bank at 9210 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon, Sept 21.

No shots were fired and no injuries resulted from the incident, which occurred shortly before 2 p.m., Wauwatosa Police Lt. Brian Zalewski said.

The two suspects are still at large, Zalewski said. One is described as a black male between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The other is described as a black male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a stocky build. Both were wearing masks and dark-colored hoodies.

The two utilized semi-automatic handguns to commit the robbery and fled in a maroon, four-door vehicle, Zalewski said.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Zalewski said the investigation is continuing and leads are being pursued, but there is a lot of legwork to be done on a case of this nature. It’s unknown how much progress police have made in apprehending the suspects.
