Burglary

Sometime during the evening of July 20, someone took a road bike from an open garage in the 9500 of Beverly Place.

Someone entered a home in the 7700 block of Livingston Avenue between 6 p.m. July 15 and 8:30 p.m. July 24 and took property. There are no known suspects.

Two males broke a window near the front entrance of Dick’s Sporting Goods, 11500 W. Burleigh St., around 1:40 a.m. July 25. The suspects tried to take two long guns but were unsuccessful due to the locking mechanisms securing the firearms. The silhouette of a third suspect was seen via camera outside the glass.

Two people entered a home in the 2500 block of North 91st Street by smashing out a window around 3:30 a.m. July 28. The suspects were later arrested and a stolen car was recovered in connection with the incident.

A wallet was taken from a purse around 4:40 p.m. July 28 in the 2400 block of North 65th Street.

Electronics, clothing and jewelry were taken during an apartment burglary in the 6500 block of West Center Street between 2:30 and 7:07 p.m. July 28. The rear apartment door was forced open.

A handgun was taken during a burglary in the 2300 block of Menomonee River Parkway between 6:30 a.m. July 22 and 7:40 p.m. July 29.

Theft

A 2007 Dodge Ram was taken in the 11400 block of West North Avenue between 9:15 p.m. July 23 and 7:15 a.m. July 24. The truck was unlocked with the keys inside.

A male was cited for retail theft at Whole Foods, 11100 W. Burleigh St., after he took $202.98 worth of merchandise around 6:20 p.m. July 23.

Around 5:20 a.m. July 25, someone took a vehicle in the 2500 block of North 85th Street. The suspect is described as being in his late teens.

Someone took a bicycle from a front yard in the 3200 block of North Knoll Boulevard between 3 p.m. July 22 and 9 a.m. July 25. The bike was worth $250 and there are no suspects.

Around 5:30 p.m. July 25, someone took a backpack containing a MacBook pro laptop and an Apple iPad Air 2 from a vehicle in the Walgreens parking lot, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave. The items were worth about $5,300.

Two people took merchandise from Baby Gap, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 6:45 p.m. July 25. Total loss was $194.91.

A female was cited for retail theft after she took $47.98 worth of alcohol from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 7:40 p.m. July 25.

Someone took a 1999 Dodge Caravan from the 1300 block of North 70th Street between 3 and 6:40 a.m. July 26.

A female reported her $170 LG cell phone was taken from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., around 3:20 p.m. July 25 after she left it in a shopping cart.

During several occasions throughout July, a male took cash from the register at Speedway, 6804 W. North Ave., where he worked.

A male reported that between 11:30 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. July 26, someone took his wallet from a backpack while it was in a room at Lincoln Elementary School, 1741 Wauwatosa Ave.

Two females took four T-shirts valued at $71.96 from Spencer's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, July 26. The T-shirts were later recovered but the suspects left in a gold Buick Regal with Wisconsin license plate 662-YNL.

Someone took $180 worth of merchandise from Sunglass Hut, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, around 8:30 p.m. July 26.

A male was cited for retail theft after he took $47.94 worth of Benzedrex nasal spray from Walgreens, 10800 W. Capitol Drive around 2:55 p.m. July 27.

Two males were cited for retail theft in the 6200 block of West State Street around 5:30 p.m. July 27 after they took 15 bottles of alcohol valued at $275.85 from Sentry, 6700 W. State St.

A bicycle was taken from a backyard in the 9800 block of West Ruby Avenue around 3:40 a.m. July 28.

Someone took a $399 portable air conditioner from Lowe’s, 12000 W. Burleigh St., around 3 p.m. July 25.

A female was cited for $459.96 in retail theft at Walgreens, 10800 W. Capitol Drive, around 4:30 p.m. July 28.

A male took $127.97 worth of merchandise from Pick ’n Save, 6950 W. State St., around 8:20 p.m. July 28.

Someone took tools from a tool box inside a work vehicle between 11:30 p.m. July 28 and 6 a.m. July 29 in the 9800 block of West Fiebrantz Avenue.

In two separate incidents, July 14 and July 20, two suspects were seen taking merchandise at TJ Maxx, 11500 W. Burleigh St. A third suspect would then enter the store and immediately return the stolen merchandise for store credit.

A male was cited for $22.99 in retail theft from Sendik’s, 8616 W. North Ave., around 8:45 p.m. July 29.

A female took $329.97 worth of merchandise from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., around 10:55 a.m. July 30. When the suspect was confronted by loss prevention, she denied stealing and fled the store before police arrived.

A $16,000 Honda CR-V was taken from a residential garage in the 2700 block of North 118th Street between 7 p.m. July 29 and 11 a.m. July 30.

OWI

A male was cited for third-offense OWI in the 5700 block of Wisconsin Avenue around 3:25 a.m. July 29.

Drug possession

Two males were cited for possession of a controlled substance in the 2200 block of North 71st Street around 5:40 a.m. July 27.

A male was cited for bail jumping and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver during a three-car vehicle crash investigation in the 3000 block of North Mayfair Road around 3:30 p.m. July 29.

A male was cited for possession with intent to deliver cocaine and for carrying a concealed firearm during a traffic stop in the 900 block of North 70th Street around 3:45 p.m. July 29.
