The following area students received bachelor’s degrees, or degrees as noted, following the 2016 spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: from Wauwatosa — Steven Doll, communication, Alison Clesceri, Arts in social work.


The Wisconsin Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) System has selected Ruth Gebremedhin, a Wauwatosa West High School graduate and recent University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, to receive a competitive summer internship in community health at the Wisconsin Division of Public Health in Dane County.

Lawrence University

Meghan Murphy of Wauwatosa was named to the 2016 dean’s list at Lawrence University in Appleton.


Brandon Toye of Wauwatosa was one of 30 students to receive a $2,000 scholarship from the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) scholarship program. Toye is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Pratt Institute

Madeline Profio of Wauwatosa received a degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York following the spring 2016 semester.

Upper Iowa University

Kristen Eberle of Wauwatosa graduated with bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa in May 2016.
