Family-friendly activities including live music, pumpkin-chucking machines and pumpkin carving will take place at the Center Street Park Saturday, Oct. 22 starting at 11 a.m. and running into the evening.

In addition to the activities there will be multiple food and beverage trucks, including Sprecher Brewery's Fire Truck on site. At 6 p.m. they will be lighting jack o' lanterns and fire pits and then settling in for a free outdoor movie that begins at 6:30 p.m. The organizers of the event say they are expecting to double the amount of people attending this year's festival to around 1,500.

Other activities that will be offered will be scarecrow building, pumpkin bowling, jump houses, build your own caramel apples, and free games and crafts.

All proceeds from Fall Fest will go toward improving Center Street Park. The event is organized by Friends of Center Street Park, in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks. For more information visit the events website at

11 a.m. - Fall Fest Opens (food, beverage, games, activities, bounce house, crafts, etc.)

Noon - Family Blend Band Performs

1 - 2 p.m. - Sack Races

2:30 p.m. - Pumpkin Chuckin'

3 - 4 p.m. - Apple Eating Races

4 p.m. - Ryland Foxx Performs

6 p.m. - Jack O' Lantern Lighting

6:30 p.m. - Free Outdoor Movie
