"Greendale is a program that is trying to rebuild," Tosa coach Kent Morin said. "They start eight freshmen in their varsity line-up so it is a very young team. Their future looks bright but it will take a little bit of time."
Tosa honored six seniors on Senior Night - Brennan, Bryant, Ehlert, Harris, Meade and Vogt. All six seniors recorded wins, five by pins.
"These are guys that are very important to our program and the success we have had this year," Morin said. "We will definitely miss them next year but we look forward to them leading us for the remainder of this season."
The locals' dual record improved to 6-1 in the Woodland Conference and 21-5 overall, as they finished behind Pewaukee (7-0) in the dual meet portion of the season.
The conference tournament is Saturday at Cudahy.
"If we continue to improve our conditioning and our technique, we think we can challenge Pewaukee for the championship," Morin said. "It should be a very exciting tournament."
