Winter Tailgate set for Saturday

The Tosa East Boys Basketball Winter Tailgate and Jr. Red Raider Basketball teams Recognition Night is set for Saturday at Tosa East.

There will be a tailgate from 2 to 5 p.m. where for $5 you get a hot dog or burger or brat and chips, beverage and dessert.

There will also be games, which includes stacking cups, checkers, face painting and tug-o-war, free-throw shooting.

The silent auction opens at 2 p.m. and items close after halftime of the varsity game.

Auction items include a fly-fishing reel package; a Visual Image Photography gift certificate; a Pampering Mom basket; hand-crafted jewelry; and four reserved seats to 2012 Tosa East graduation.

The fourth through eight grade Jr. Red Raider Basketball teams will be recognized in games against Waunakee. The freshman play at 3 p.m.; the junior varsity at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity at 6:15 p.m.
