Wauwatosa West lost to Shorewood on Friday, but bounced back with a win over St. Francis on Tuesday to even its record at 2-2 in the Woodland Conference.
The Trojans dropped a 60-33 decision to the Greyhounds on Friday at home, as they fell behind 38-22 at half and then struggled even more after intermission, managing only 11 points.
After scoring only three points in the third period, they trailed 50-25 going into the final quarter.
"Poor shooting and foul trouble doomed us all night," Tosa West coach Chad Stelse said. "You're not going to beat anyone shooting 21 percent from the field (11-for-51)."
Shorewood had a three-pronged attack as Deion Jackson-Body had a game-high 14 points, while Aaron Bailey poured in 13 and Donovan Bailey added 12.
The good news for Tosa West was nine players scored. The bad news was the top scorer only had nine points (Andre Carroll).
"They (the Greyhounds) packed it in and took away the lane from us," Stelse said. "We got good looks but could not knock down a three all night.
"We were 3-for-23 from beyond the arc, but our guys need to attack more and be more active without the ball especially when we shoot that bad from distance."
The Trojans started this week with a 79-59 victory at St. Francis on Tuesday.
A balanced attack keyed the victory with five players scoring in double figures.
Carroll had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists and Ricky Landers recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Steffan Brown scored 14, JJ Belknapp added 11 and Blake Harvey had 10.
