Wisconsin RAP AAU Club sets Sunday tryout

Wisconsin RAP AAU basketball has a tryout set for Sunday.

Seventh- to 10th-grade girls can try out from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and the boys from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tryouts will be held at St. Paul's on Janesville Road in Muskego.

The cost is $5 per player to cover the cost of the gym. Questions can be directed to wisrap@gmail.com.

Coaches needed for Jr. Raiders basketball

The Wauwatosa East Jr. Raiders basketball program is in need of coaches this season.

The program consists of five teams representing grades four through eight competing in the Metro Classic Conference.

Teams also enter local tournaments.

Trojan Basketball Club seeks girls, boys coaches

The Trojan Basketball Club is looking for volunteer coaches for the upcoming fall/winter leagues.

Coaches are needed for fifth- through eighth-grade girls and boys basketball teams.

The club is a youth feeder program for boys and girls who will be attending Wauwatosa West High School and have aspirations to play at the varsity level.

Hurricanes fastpitch softball looking for players

The Waukesha Hurricanes U16-U18 select fastpitch softball team remains on the lookout for players.

Milwaukee Wave announces indoor training program

The Milwaukee Wave will have a new winter indoor training program conducted by players and coaches from the Wave Academy who represent countries from around the world.

The Wave Academy's advanced training will offer players U8-U14 the opportunity to develop into more confident players. The winter indoor training will be held between 4 and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Nov. 1 to April 5 at Uihlein Soccer Park.

Sessions will be offered every four weeks, allowing players to learn different techniques.
