A special tip of the cap to Wauwatosa East boys volleyball coach John Simon, who reached a coaching milestone on Saturday at the Waukesha West Invitational. When the Red Raiders beat Franklin, it was the 800th victory of Simon's career. The Red Raiders then made it a great day by winning the invitational. Nice job, coach.
4 Goals by Wauwatosa East senior Ben Carpenter in the Red Raiders' 3-0 week. He scored all four goals in the 2-0 win over Brookfield Central and the 2-1 win over New Berlin Eisenhower.

Wauwatosa West junior running back Jameson Brock keyed the Trojans' 42-0 win over New Berlin Eisenhower on Friday at West. Brock scored three touchdowns, including one on a 27-yard interception return. He also rushed for 91 yards in 13 carries, a 7.0 average.
