Rival gives East crowd props
Brookfield Central sophomore guard Riley LaChance had a huge compliment for the Red Raiders fans: "To come in here; it's probably one of the hardest places to play in the state actually. Their crowd is the main thing." Unfortunately - in my opinion - I was disappointed in the size of the crowd, especially in the Tosa East student section. Talking to some Tosa East officials, I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
3 Dual meet victories by Wauwatosa's co-op wrestling team this week. The Red Raiders/Trojans beat Johnson Creek in a non-conference match and then won two Woodland Conference matches against Cudahy/St. Francis and Whitnall to stay in second place (5-1) behind first-place Pewaukee (6-0).

Wauwatosa West sophomore guard Elise Ditscheit had a big game in a 55-32 win at St. Thomas More on Jan. 10. Ditscheit poured in 21 points, which included six 3-pointers. Ditscheit is averaging 7.5 points per game this season.
