The Wauwatosa Hurricanes finished sixth in their own 10-team Bob White Invitational on Saturday after beginning the week with a loss to Whitnall.
The Brookfield Barracudas walked away with the championship on Saturday with 435.5 points to the New Berlin Marlins' 329. Tosa finished with 211, behind fifth-place Waukesha North/Kettle Moraine (215) and ahead of seventh-place Oak Creek (198).
The top finish for the Hurricanes came from Tony Benz, who placed fourth in 1-meter diving (303.35).
Jack Lutz was sixth in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 14.35 seconds) and seventh in the 100 butterfly (1:02.99) and Eddie Galindo was sixth in the 100 backstroke (1:01.25).
Caleb Hernday and Michael Siverling finished sixth (5:29.43) and seventh (5:35), respectively, in the 500 freestyle.
Max Brovarney, Lutz, Peter Hovel and Hernday finished sixth in both the 200 free relay (1:39.17) and the 400 free relay (3:39.83).
The 200 medley relay of Galindo, Siverling, Jake Falk and Sam Hiersman were eighth (1:57.08), Brovarney was ninth in the 50 free (24.86), Falk was 10th in the 100 fly (1:04.16) and Siverling was 10th in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.13).
The Hurricanes lost a dual meet at Whitnall, 95-75, on Jan. 25 and had five first-place performances, including two double winners.
Hernday won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 3:53 seconds and the 500 free (5:39.47), while Lutz won the 200 individual medley (2:19.47) and the 100 butterfly (1:03.31). Galindo earned the other win in the 100 backstroke (1:00.13).
