YOUTH BASEBALL

Mud Hens 14, Catfish 1 - The Catfish ran into a buzz saw called the Mud Hens at Longfellow in a 14-1 loss. Still the team fought all the way through 6 innings with solid pitching from Parker and Taylor Esswein. Solid contact at the plate from Tyler Donlon and Joseph Greenholt and outstanding fielding from Carson Dodge were bright spots for the young Catfish.

Catfish 11, T-Bones 6 - Another win for the Catfish. Much thanks to the triple hit by Parker Esswein, the pop-up catch at second base by Carson Dodge and the line drive caught at third by Aaron Henry.

Tigers 11, Orioles 8 - The Orioles (3-2) lost to the Tigers, 11-8, on a windy Wednesday at Whitman. The Orioles had 12 hits with Tyler Klossowski, Hudson Schram, Jonas Wojtas, Gabe Fisch and Eric DeBord contributing hits in the bottom of the third for a 4 run inning. Jake Brophey had a hit and scored on a stolen base in the bottom of the fourth. Ben Lawrence walked and scored a run in the third and added a hit in the bottom of the fifth.
