A Wauwatosa team will be guaranteed to move on to the regional finals on Thursday since the two local schools will face each other in the WIAA Regional Opener on Tuesday.
Wauwatosa East will play Wauwatosa West at Whitman Field on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. Tosa East, the ninth seed, has beaten Tosa West, the eighth seed, twice this season - in an exhibition game early in the year and in a non-conference game at Halfaer Field two weeks ago.
The winner of their game will meet top-seeded Homestead on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
